We have made available a few activities for groups to download or access and complete independently or in conjunction with a presentation from Interpretive Services. Each activity is focused on a different area of the park. School groups are encouraged to contact Interpretive Services at 360.675.3767 ext. 231 or DeceptionPass.Interpreter@parks.wa.gov to schedule a visit to the park.
Activities for Group Visits:
- Forest Ecology program with a Nature Journaling activity or a Guided Hike (works best in Hoypus, Goose Rock area, West Beach to North Beach trails, and trails around Bowman.
- Gracie the Gray Whale program and skull. Can occur in the Park or at schools, and focuses on environmental issues around whale habitat.
- Rosario Tide Pool exploration and programming. Activity stations are available, such as a mammals in the Park fur table, the Rosario Field Classroom, and an intertidal zone craft activity.

West Beach: Sand Dune Discovery Activity
