Begin at the Pass Lake parking area for this walk and carefully cross Rosario Road to the marked trailhead just behind the the large park sign.  The trails utilized for this route are all marked and are well maintained.  Just past the trailhead the hiker will see the small stream which drains Pass Lake.  (It eventually empties into Bowman Bay under a wooden walkway on the beach trail south of the pier.)  The trail gradually works it's way down to sea level near Lottie Bay at which point one can either branch to the Lighthouse Point area or toward Lottie Point.  Both areas offer magnificent panoramic views.  There are several steep banks and cliffs near the trails in these areas so be sure to keep young children very close by.
