Steam/Electric Power Plant for Old Quarry |

The old power plant
generated electricity for the rock quarry via a "dynamo" (generator)
driven by a reciprocating steam engine. Steam was generated in
an oil-fired boiler with
water supplied by a
long run of pipe from Pass Lake's outfall stream utilizing a
