Come out and celebrate Kids to Parks Day with the Interpretive Rangers at Deception Pass State Park.

From 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., meet our friend Gracie the gray whale. Explore gray whale bones and ask questions about the gray whales of the Salish Sea!

Want to add to your collection of Junior Ranger badges? Earn yours with our Junior Ranger Program starting at 11:00 a.m.

Views here helped deem this park most visited in Washington State; see for yourself with our Nature Hike starting at 3:00 p.m.

Meet by the boat launch at Bowman Bay 15 minutes before each program. Bring water and snacks for the hike, and even enjoy a family picnic between programs. Whatever you decide to do, nature is waiting for you!

Please contact DeceptionPass.Interpreter@parks.wa.gov or 360-675-3767 with any questions.
