Come out and celebrate Kids at Parks Day with the Interpretive Rangers at Deception Pass State Park. It’s views helped deem this park most visited in Washington State; see for yourself with our Nature Hike starting at 11:00am. Want to add to your collection of Jr. Ranger badges? Earn yours with our Jr. Ranger Program starting at 2:00pm.
Meet outside the Rosario Field Classroom at Rosario Beach 15 minutes before 11am. Bring water and snacks for the hike, and even enjoy a family picnic afterwards- remember “pack it in, pack it out”. Whatever you decide to do, nature is waiting for you!

For more information about the national day for outdoor play, check out National Park Trust that is cooperating with 19 other national collaborations that day.
