Whidbey News Group

For 125 years, the Whidbey News-Times has served as the local, hometown newspaper for North and Central Whidbey. From Greenbank to Deception Pass, we report on people, issues and events that matter to you. The newspaper is based in Oak Harbor, where the Navy, schools and business are hot topics. Coupeville is the Island County’s seat, and the environment, history, development and tourism get plenty of attention. On North Whidbey, people often discuss traffic and state parks. When there’s news happening, be assured the News-Times will report on it.
